Oh man, I’ve been waiting for this one for a long time! Active Child have been one of my very favorite bands since their Curtis Lane EP came out last year. I’ve been trying to post this for the past five days since it came out, but I just can’t seem to decide on which songs to feature, they’re all so good and the more I listen to the album, the more each song grows on me! So I just decided to feature the whole album, haha. I really can’t recommend it enough, it’s sheer, beautiful, melancholy, glimmering bliss.
EDIT: To be perfectly honest, I was kind of disappointed in the album at first, but I kept listening to it and now I’m so in love with it. I think I listened to it 6 or 7 times yesterday! I decided featuring all the songs was too much, so I chose half of them to keep up. The first two especially sound 100 times better with really good speakers and especially bass, just saying.

I definitely hear a James Blake influence in this one, which makes sense since they toured together. Love it.
