This band has been steadily growing on me for a while, and lately I just can’t get enough of them. They’re just amazing, especially in this first song, “Glowing Mouth”, but the whole album kills.

Leave it to Japan to come up with the craziest music. This is absolutely amazing though, complex, beautiful, creepy, enthralling, captivating music. Really like nothing you’ve heard before. I was surprised to find out it’s all just one dude, too! I really want to try listening to this on acid, if I can handle it.

Ugh, sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been way too busy lately. Hopefully things will return to normal soon. Here’s something I’ve been wanting to get to though. One of the main reasons I haven’t done a best of 2012 list (yet?) is because there are still a lot of amazing releases from last year that I haven’t gotten to yet, like this album here.

Hudson Mohawke steps things up a gear with this hyped and ridiculously anticipated collaboration with fellow beats alchemist, Lunice … Straight to the point, simple and hard as you like beats that could set alight underground dancefloors as well as soundtrack the largest commercial rap and R’n’B stars on the planet.
This wasn’t an easy find. Beat Culture’s first album, which he released at the young age of 16—and it’s fucking sick! Get it!
I first decided to give this band a listen through while I was peaking on acid, and fuck… it blew my mind. If you’re planning a shroom or acid trip anytime soon, I can’t recommend trying this enough, it was intense.
