I’d forgotten about this band until I started listening to their new single that just came out (which I’ll post right after this). They’re fucking brilliant! You’ll be reminded of Ian Curtis, but with more pop, in a really good, jangly guitar pop way.

I was so excited when I finally got ahold of this album, and for good reason! In my opinion, this might be Beach House’s best album yet (it’s their fourth), which is saying a lot! It’s probably the best album of 2012! This album is just amazing, their music, as always, is so beautiful and dreamy and perfect. I’m definitely buying it as soon as it comes out next month, and I encourage you to do the same if you can! I’ll be sure to upload that version when I get it, since this is only a leak, and the bitrate is only 192 kbps.

Honestly, I’ve known about this band since their first stuff a few years back, but was never that impressed with them, but their new album out of nowhere is fucking good. Upbeat, light-hearted, trippy electronic music.
This band took a few listens before I began to take notice, but now I fucking love them. I saw them play with Beach Fossils and Melted Toys last week, and they were so much fun. Feel good, light-hearted, dreamy, summer-time pop. For some reason they remind me of a cross between Wild Nothing and Depeche Mode. They have so many good tracks I had a hard time figuring out which to feature, that’s why I put up 5.
